Probably because I’ve never been thin. I’ve tried. I’ve wanted to be. I’ve thought there was a thin girl under all this flab just waiting to break on out but it turns out I was internalizing fat-phobia shoved on me through, well, everywhere....

How and when did you meet your husband, Shawn?
We met on Match.com, actually. We started communicating via email November 11th, 2006, I turned 20 November 16th, and we met for our first dinner date November 17th. About two weeks later I wrote in my journal “This man is either going to break my heart or marry me. I think he’ll marry me.”

I really thought there would never be another point and shoot to rival my beloved Pentax Optio A30. It had everything I ever needed and it was perfectly pocket-sized, but! BUT.
This Sony Cybershot TX7 is pretty. freakin’. awesome. I LOVE the touch-screen interface, but I don’t think it’s multi-touch (iPad, iPhone, iPod, multi-touch mouse), so it has taken some getting used to....

So, I've been sick.
Really, really sick.
About three weeks ago, my allergies kicked in full-force, and even though I was on Zyrtec, I was still struggling with post-nasal drip and the nausea that attends it.
